Malawi launches new tourism guide for international visitors
The Malawi Travel Marketing Consortium has unveiled its "Best of Malawi 2025" destination brochure, offering comprehensive guidance for travellers planning to visit the southeastern African nation.
Released on 31 October, the guide highlights Malawi's evolution into a premier safari destination, showcasing recent developments across its parks and reserves alongside the country's traditional draws of lakeside beaches, dramatic landscapes and rich cultural heritage.
Available in both digital and print formats, the brochure serves as the definitive resource for international visitors, featuring detailed listings of top-tier accommodation, local tour operators and transport services throughout the country.
The consortium, comprising over 40 tourism companies, emphasises Malawi's growing appeal for those seeking sustainable, uncrowded experiences off the beaten track. The guide includes sections on activities ranging from water sports to wildlife safaris, alongside practical travel advice and regional overviews.
UK and European travellers can access the brochure online as an e-book or PDF, with printed copies available by post and at travel exhibitions. The publication positions Malawi, often called "The Warm Heart of Africa", as an emerging destination for discerning international tourists.
