Mahlatini celebrates 20 years of ‘Life’s Great Journeys’

Mahlatini marks a major milestone this month as it celebrates 20 years in luxury African travel. Born in 2002 from a personal passion for safari, selling only South Africa to the UK market; Mahlatini has since curated thousands of extraordinary bespoke trips across sub-Sahara Africa and the Indian Ocean to a global client base, with a team based in UK, Europe and South Africa.

This milestone month also sees the company open the doors of its new purpose-built offices in Rondebosch, Cape Town, to support ambitious growth aligned to the post-pandemic rebound in special occasion and bucket-list travel to Africa. The expanding team has welcomed three new colleagues in recent months – Niki Duncan, Karen Eager, Melissa Oberholzer – each bringing a wealth of specialist knowledge and a combined experience of over 40 years’ in the African travel industry.
