Lufthansa Group boosts summer 2026 links to Cape Town and Windhoek
Lufthansa Group carriers will increase southern Africa capacity in summer 2026, with Lufthansa operating Frankfurt – Cape Town five times a week and Edelweiss launching twice‑weekly Zurich – Windhoek services from June. The additions form part of the Group’s summer 2026 schedule, now open for booking.
Edelweiss will also extend its seasonal Cape Town service. The expanded links strengthen access to two key leisure gateways in South Africa and Namibia, supporting peak‑season tourism and offering more itinerary options for trade and travellers.
