Last Word Expands Portfolio with Acquisition of The Bush House in Madikwe Game Reserve

Last Word, a collection of five-star Intimate HotelsTM and Safari Camps in South Africa, is excited to announce the acquisition of The Bush House in Madikwe Game Reserve.

The lodge will be renamed Last Word Madikwe Bush House. With only five suites, Last Word Madikwe Bush House perfectly complements Last Word's intimate and exclusive approach to hospitality.

The lodge, originally a family homestead on the Wonderboom farm, was transformed into an inviting retreat that offers the perfect safari escape for families, photographers, birders, and groups. It has operated as a commercial lodge for 23 years. Located on the western side of Madikwe, it is approximately a four-hour drive from Johannesburg and can also be accessed by plane from both Johannesburg and Durban.
