Kenya’s Tourism Sector Welcomes Rebecca Miano as New Cabinet Secretary
Kenya’s tourism sector has welcomed Rebecca Miano as the new Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife, marking a significant development for the industry. Her appointment, succeeding Alfred Nganga Mutua, is seen as a boost to Kenya’s tourism sector, which is currently focused on sustainability, innovation, and global competitiveness.
Hon. Miano, previously the Managing Director and CEO of Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen), brings a wealth of experience in corporate governance and strategic growth.
