This February, Ongava welcomes the reopening of a camp shaped by those moments.

Formerly known as Ongava Tented Camp, ENCOUNTER by Ongava reflects a return to presence and a closer way of meeting the wild. Set within a secluded valley at the foot of a dolomite hill, it is a place where wildlife moves freely and each stay unfolds without script.

The name Encounter speaks to the essence of the experience.

Here, the rhythm of the Mopane woodland sets the tone.
