Ikuka Safari Camp, Ruaha Launch New Family Room

Ikuka Safari Camp, Ruaha are delighted to announce the launch of our newest room, Nane which officially opened on 10th September. Nane means eight in Swahili — our eighth room and a wonderful milestone for the camp. 

Nane is our second family room and is located further along our escarpment overlooking breath taking views into the Mwagusi River valley. Similar to Hondo Hondo, our first family room, Nane can accommodate up to a family of 5 people in duplex unit comprising a double bed on the bottom level and a twin or triple on the top. With a large shared bathroom, with roll top bath on the ground floor Nane also has a separate loo and basin on the top floor for the kids. Similar to Hondo Hondo, Nane has a stunning private plunge pool overlooking the wilds of Ruaha. 

Whilst the room was designed with families in mind we will also be able to offer this for couples and honeymooners as a slightly larger room to enjoy.
