Mauritius’s legendary beach resorts, golf courses and visa on arrival system for citizens of over 140 countries, continue to make it popular with tourists.
At the same time, the island nation’s thriving, sophisticated economy, which spans IT, financial services, textile manufacturing as well as traditional sugar farming and fishing – along with its tax and offshore business incentives - has transformed it into a key investment and trade centre.
Airlink will operate its brand new, state-of-the-art Embraer E195-E2 flagship aircraft on the new Mauritius service. They accommodate 124 passengers (12 Business Class and 112 Economy) with only window and aisle seats – there are no middle seats on any Airlink flights.
“Our new flagship aircraft, the E195-E2, makes it possible for Airlink to conveniently connect Cape Town with Mauritius. Cape Town is Airlink’s second hub with domestic and regional flights as well as long-haul connections with Airlink’s partner airlines from around the world.
Airlink’s schedule for the route is being designed so that leisure travellers will be able to maximise their holiday time and for corporate travellers to enhance their business itineraries without disruptive middle-of-the-night or pre-dawn departures or arrivals.
