Painted Wolf Wine’s delicious Guillermo Pinotage 2013 is almost sold out. The winery will be launching its Guillermo Pinotage 2014 at Prowein 2018 which takes place in Dusseldorf from 18-20 March 2018. Painted Wolf Wines will be exhibiting  as part of the Wines of South Africa Pavilion.

They have been producing this wine since they started the company, making it a strong part of the history and soul of the company. It is arguably their most successful and iconic wine.

Why does our very South African wine have a Spanish name?

Painted Wolf Wine’s business is based on relationships, like a wild dog pack. The company is based on the philosophy that the strength of the pack is in the strength of each member. One of the first investors was Argentinian born Billy (Guillermo) Hughes who grows excellent organic grapes on his farm Kasteelsig in the Swartland. ‘Guillermo’ Pinotage is made from his grapes and bears his name.

Over vintages, ‘Guillermo’ Pinotage has received many awards and accolades.
