German leisure airline Condor will expand its long-haul services to South Africa for the 2025/2026 European winter season, increasing connections to key destinations. From 1 November 2025, Condor will upgrade its Frankfurt–Cape Town route from five weekly flights to a daily service, reflecting strong demand from European travellers. The airline will also increase its Frankfurt–Johannesburg route to three weekly flights, up from the current two, supporting both business and leisure travel to South Africa’s economic hub.

Both routes will be operated by Condor’s Airbus A330-900neo, offering a modern and fuel-efficient travel experience with 310 seats across business, premium economy, and economy classes. The additional capacity is expected to enhance connectivity between Germany and South Africa, a key market for European visitors. With Germany remaining a vital source market, the expanded schedule will support South Africa’s tourism growth while offering more opportunities for seamless multi-destination itineraries across the region.
