Fastjet Zimbabwe marks 10 years – plans additional ERJ145 to boost connectivity
Fastjet Zimbabwe marked its 10th anniversary on 28 October 2025 in Harare, highlighting a decade of operations connecting people and places and contributing to tourism and trade in Zimbabwe and the region. Donahue Cortes, fastjet Zimbabwe’s Business CEO/Country Head, remarked, “Throughout the years, our network has grown into something far beyond just a means of transportation. It has transformed into a powerful connection, uniting friends, families, businesses, destinations and dreams across Zimbabwe and beyond”.
The airline currently serves six destinations – Bulawayo, Harare, Victoria Falls, Lusaka, Johannesburg and Kruger Mpumalanga – using Embraer ERJ145 aircraft. It announced plans to take delivery of an additional ERJ145 to be registered in Zimbabwe, signalling planned capacity growth and continued investment in the market and industry partnerships.
