Experience Africa 2022… That’s a wrap!

Finally we had the opportunity to deliver Experience Africa and running from Wednesday to Friday last week in the midst of the largest transport strikes the UK has seen in 30 years we were delighted to see how many buyers from across the UK and Europe made it to the Kia Oval in London.

The show kicked off with a fantastic keynote from Holly Budge, adventurer and founder of How Many Elephants who was also launching World Female Ranger Week from Experience Africa and we are delighted to report that those attending Experience Africa raised over £3,000 for female rangers across Africa.

Wednesday was delivered in partnership with South African Tourism as destination partner for the day and wrapped up with wine tasting from Steenberg Hotel & Spa before sundowners on the Corinthian Roof Terrace at the Kia Oval. Thursday we welcomed our destination partner Visit Rwanda along with The Africa Hub who ran destination spotlights on Zambia, Uganda and Malawi. We wrapped up on Friday with a fantastic prize give away with some very generous prizes donated by our exhibitors.

It was wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces from across Africa, the UK and Europe all coming together to discuss the business of; and learn about what’s new in the world of African tourism.

We are already looking towards the plans for Experience Africa 2023 so watch this space for further announcements coming soon
