Ethiopian Airlines Spreads Wings from Ethiopia’s Capital City to Poland

Africa's largest carrier, Ethiopian Airlines, is soaring into new territory with the launch of a four-times-weekly passenger service from Addis Ababa (capital of Ethiopia) to Warsaw, Poland via Athens. Commencing June 16th, this strategic move expands the airline's European reach to 24 destinations.

Group CEO Mesfin Tasew hailed the new route, ET 764 from Addis Ababa to Warsaw via Athens, as aligning with Ethiopian's vision of connecting Africa to the world while boosting intra-continental commerce and tourism. "We are truly excited to further grow our presence in the European market with yet another new destination," he remarked.

With over 60 African destinations, the carrier plays a pivotal role in bringing the continent closer to global markets, now including Poland. As it celebrates 78 years of operations, this expansion solidifies Ethiopian Airlines' position as a dominant force in African and international aviation. With its modern fleet, extensive network, and award-winning services, the airline continues to offer seamless travel options to over 135 global destinations.
