Ethiopian Airlines opens premium lounge at Addis Ababa Bole
Ethiopian Airlines Group inaugurated a new premium lounge at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport on 16 December 2025. The 5,500 m² facility represents an investment of more than USD 16 million and can host up to 1,000 passengers, strengthening the carrier’s hub proposition and improving the transfer experience at one of Africa’s busiest gateways.
Amenities include multiple dining areas and bars, an Ethiopian coffee corner, showers, quiet and prayer rooms, meeting spaces, a children’s room, a beauty lounge, a smoking room and a luggage room. Access is available to ShebaMiles Platinum and Gold members, Star Alliance Gold members and eligible partner frequent flyers. CEO Mesfin Tasew said the lounge forms part of the airline’s push to enhance end‑to‑end hospitality for customers across its global network.
