Ethiopian Airlines inaugurates second Abuja – Addis Ababa service
Ethiopian Airlines commenced with additional evening service on the Abuja – Addis Ababa rouute. The new flight, ET937, arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 19:26 and was greeted with a water salute, with three weekly evening rotations complementing the carrier’s existing daily midday service.
The associated outbound service, ET957, departs Abuja at 22:00 and arrives in Addis Ababa at 05:00, improving onward connections across Africa, the Middle East, Asia and South America, including Dubai, Tel Aviv, São Paulo, Johannesburg and Nairobi. With the new schedule, Ethiopian now operates 35 weekly services between Nigeria and Ethiopia – 14 from Lagos, 10 from Abuja, seven from Kano and three from Enugu – a move expected to ease travel and support trade and tourism while reinforcing Addis Ababa’s role as a regional hub.
