Ethiopia Visa Application

The Director General of Ethiopian Immigration and Citizenship Service, Selamawit Dawit, officially announced a new visa on arrival privilege for nationals of 122 countries. This momentous announcement took place at the Tourism Investment Forum, which was part of the Tourism and Hospitality Exhibition held at the Science Museum yesterday. 

Remarkably, this decision had been approved a couple of weeks ago, and preparations have been diligently underway since then. As a result, the service has already commenced, and it's heartening to see that nearly all European nationals are now receiving visas on arrival. However, it's important to note that no written announcement has been made as of yet, and, as is often the case in Ethiopia, official communications tend to progress at a leisurely pace.
