Empowering Young Conservationists: Children in the Wilderness (CITW) launches in Kenya!
Governors' camp Collection is thrilled to announce the launch of CITW, a program designed to inspire the next generation of conservationists. Through engaging eco-clubs and immersive eco-camps, Children in the Wilderness provides conservation education to school children, fostering a deep and lifelong appreciation for the natural world.
The process to establishing CITW began by training "EcoMentors" - local community members, teachers and camp staff - during comprehensive training sessions held at our camps in the Masai Mara and at Loldia House. These sessions equipped the mentors with the knowledge and skills to lead environmental projects and inspire young minds. We can't wait to see the positive impact CITW will have on the youth and our environment!
