Elewana Lewa Safari Camp completes a major refurbishment
Elewana Lewa Safari Camp has unveiled a refreshed guest experience following a comprehensive refurbishment. Led by renowned designer Jan Allan, the project blends contemporary comforts with the camp’s timeless safari character, ensuring guests enjoy an enhanced stay while remaining connected to the spirit of Lewa.
The project introduced a number of carefully considered additions and upgrades, including a redesigned Dining Tree deck, expansive shaded verandas, a new swimming pool with tiered stone seating, and a welcoming outdoor firepit lounge for relaxed evenings under the stars.
Nestled within the renowned Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, the camp offers access to 65,000 acres of protected wilderness, home to thriving populations of black rhino, Grevy’s zebra, and a wealth of other wildlife. With its strong conservation credentials, low vehicle density, and excellent Big Five viewing opportunities, Lewa remains one of East Africa’s most rewarding safari destinations.
The reopening reflects Elewana’s continued commitment to delivering exceptional safari experiences while celebrating the unique heritage and conservation significance of Lewa.
