EasyJet Launches Nine New UK Winter Routes Across Europe and North Africa
EasyJet has announced nine new routes from six UK airports for the upcoming winter season, expanding connectivity to destinations across Europe and North Africa. Launching from late October 2026, the new services will operate from Birmingham, Belfast International, London Luton, London Southend, Newcastle, and Southampton, with routes covering Agadir, Rome, Sharm El Sheikh, Ljubljana, Budapest, Fuerteventura, Krakow, Reykjavik, and Paris Charles de Gaulle. The airline will hold exclusive status on several routes, including Belfast International to Rome and Sharm El Sheikh, London Southend to Budapest, and London Luton to Ljubljana.
The expansion strengthens easyJet's position across key leisure and city-break markets ahead of winter, with package holidays available across all nine destinations through easyJet Holidays, including flights, hotel accommodation, 23kg luggage, and transfers from £60 per person deposit. Newcastle, a recently launched easyJet base, sees the largest addition with three new routes to Fuerteventura, Krakow, and Reykjavik. The Birmingham to Agadir service, launching 27 October, further deepens the airline's growing presence in Morocco's coastal market following its recent Marrakech base opening.
