Cresta Marakanelo Limited (CML) has unveiled an exciting development at Cresta Marang in Francistown, set to redefine luxury hospitality in Botswana. The project, which will see 10 luxury chalets added to the property by the end of 2024, is part of CML’s broader strategy to enhance its offerings nationwide.

Keikutlwetse Raboloko, Head of Projects at CML, shared details of the transformation: “The first phase saw four river-facing chalets open to guests in January 2024. Designed with modern aesthetics and raised on stilts to offer stunning views of the Tati River, these chalets blend upgraded technology with a safari-inspired atmosphere to create a unique guest experience.”

The historic Cresta Marang, long a favourite for travellers from Zimbabwe, Zambia, and South Africa, is undergoing a complete overhaul of its 14 thatched chalets. Once completed, the property will boast 10 new luxury chalets, including two family units and a presidential suite, with an estimated investment of P10 million.

“This initiative underscores our commitment to reinvesting in infrastructure and ensuring Cresta Hotels remains the preferred hospitality brand in the region,” said Raboloko.

Guests can expect an enhanced value proposition and an authentic African hospitality experience as CML continues to prioritise comfort and satisfaction across its properties.
