Condor to launch daily Cairo flights
Condor will introduce a new daily service to Cairo operated by Airbus A320 aircraft, with bookings opening this week via the airline’s website, call centres and partner travel agencies. The route aligns with Condor’s strategy to expand internationally and is intended to reinforce business, leisure and connecting traffic through its Frankfurt hub, enhancing Europe–North Africa connectivity.
Chief Executive Peter Gerber said Cairo offers strong economic and cultural appeal with long‑term potential. The city, home to more than 20 million people, draws visitors to the Grand Egyptian Museum, the Pyramids of Giza and Nile cruise gateways, with the new service expected to support cultural tourism as well as business travel and trade links between Africa and Europe.
