Condor Confirms Year-Round Frankfurt–Seychelles Service
German airline Condor has confirmed that its weekly non-stop service between Frankfurt and Seychelles will operate year-round, with the first resumed flight arriving on 19 September 2026. The move closes a previous four-month seasonal gap between mid-May and mid-September, providing continuous direct access to Seychelles across both peak and off-peak travel periods. Condor's wider network connects travellers from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and broader European markets, while Frankfurt's transatlantic connections also open the route to travellers from the Americas.
Germany was Seychelles' leading visitor source market in 2025, with German tourists typically staying longer than visitors from many other markets and showing a preference for self-catering establishments and guesthouses. Seychelles Tourism Board CEO Vesna Rakic welcomed the development, saying the year-round service gives Seychelles "a stronger platform to sustain demand throughout the year, including during traditionally quieter months" and allows tourism partners to plan with greater confidence. The announcement follows a busy period of trade engagement for the STB, which recently participated in IFTM Top Resa in Paris and the GlobeMeets B2B event in Istanbul, as the board works to strengthen air connectivity and broaden its international market base amid a 6.5% decline in French arrivals in the first eight months of 2026.
