Classic Portfolio Welcomes The Residence Collection
Classic Portfolio has announced The Residence Collection as its newest Member, adding three independently owned luxury properties across Johannesburg and Zambia to its collection of owner-run lodges, camps, hotels and villas.
Representing independently owned properties across 11 African countries, Classic Portfolio continues to connect the global travel trade with exceptional places known for their genuine hospitality and strong sense of place. The addition of The Residence Collection introduces two important gateway destinations, making it even easier to create seamless Southern African journeys.
The Residence Collection brings together The Residence Hotel in Johannesburg, together with Mukwa River Lodge and the exclusive-use Tanyati Villa on the banks of the Zambezi River in Zambia. Each property has its own distinctive character, while sharing a warm, owner-led approach to hospitality that makes every guest feel genuinely welcome.
The addition also fills two long-standing gaps within the portfolio, allowing trade partners and their guests to combine Johannesburg and Zambia with Classic Portfolio's existing Members across Southern and East Africa.
The Residence Hotel offers an elegant pre- or post-safari stay in Johannesburg's leafy Houghton suburb, just 25 minutes from OR Tambo International Airport.
