CemAir Advises Passengers to Prepare for Possible Travel Disruptions

20+Year+Livery.png

CemAir wishes to advise passengers that planned protest action expected on 30 June 2026 may result in disruptions to airport operations across parts of South Africa.

While the extent and impact of the protests remain uncertain, passengers should be aware that road access to airports, airport staffing levels, security screening, baggage handling and other essential ground services may be affected. These factors could lead to flight delays or operational disruptions beyond the airline's control.

CemAir is actively monitoring the situation and is working closely with airport authorities and operational partners to minimise any impact on our flight schedule. Our teams will make every effort to maintain normal operations and ensure passengers reach their destinations as safely and efficiently as possible.

Passengers travelling on Tuesday, 30 June 2026, are encouraged to:

Arrive at the airport earlier than usual to allow additional time for possible traffic congestion and airport processing delays.

Monitor their email, WhatsApp notifications and the CemAir social media channels for the latest travel updates.

Ensure their contact details are up to date on their booking so they can receive important notifications regarding their flight.

Should operational changes become necessary, affected passengers will be contacted directly using the contact information provided at the time of booking.

CemAir appreciates the patience and understanding of all passengers and remains committed to providing timely communication and the highest possible level of service throughout this period.
