Cape Grace Unveils Dedicated Banqueting Suites at V&A Waterfront
Cape Grace, a Fairmont Managed Hotel at Cape Town's V&A Waterfront, has launched two new dedicated banqueting and meeting venues - the Marina Room and the Boardroom - marking the property's first purpose-built event spaces. The Marina Room accommodates up to 50 guests across theatre, boardroom and banquet configurations, while the Boardroom seats up to 14 guests for senior leadership gatherings, with an adjoining breakout lounge available. Both venues offer harbour views and are equipped with advanced audiovisual infrastructure, including high-resolution LED displays, Bose audio systems and full BYOD compatibility.
The addition responds to growing demand for intimate, design-led event venues with five-star service in Cape Town's luxury hospitality market. Catering is overseen by Chef Wesli Jacobs of the hotel's Heirloom Restaurant, with menus ranging from working lunches to a multi-layered Braai Experience, drawing on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. The suites align with Cape Grace's existing sustainability credentials - including Green Key and EDGE Buildings certifications - incorporating energy-efficient lighting, water-conscious systems and waste management practices. The property has been single-use plastic free since 2022. Bookings are open for corporate events, executive retreats, private dining and intimate celebrations.
