Brussels Airlines to launch twice‑weekly Kilimanjaro service from June 2026
Brussels Airlines has announced a new long‑haul route to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, with twice‑weekly flights from 3 June 2026. Operating on Wednesdays and Saturdays with Airbus A330‑300 aircraft, the addition expands the airline’s sub‑Saharan Africa network to 18 destinations and marks its fifth in East Africa.
The service connects Brussels with a key gateway for northern Tanzania’s marquee attractions – Mount Kilimanjaro, Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area – supporting safari demand and trade ties. The carrier will also lift capacity to Freetown to six weekly flights in summer 2026, alongside added frequencies on select European routes.
