Ever wondered what happens at an African waterhole in the middle of the night? Or what wildlife might appear just after sunrise?

You can now find out from wherever you are in the world.

Gamewatchers Safaris and Porini Camps are delighted to introduce a new 24-hour live wildlife camera at Porini Rhino Camp, located in the spectacular Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya's Laikipia region.

Developed in partnership with Africam, the camera overlooks a busy waterhole where wildlife gathers throughout the day and night. Whether you're watching from your home, classroom or office, you'll have the opportunity to experience authentic African wildlife in real time—completely unedited and unscripted.

No two moments are ever the same.

Depending on when you tune in, you may see elephants stopping for a drink, buffalo wandering through, giraffes browsing nearby, antelope approaching cautiously, or a colourful variety of birds visiting the water's edge. Sometimes the waterhole is bustling with activity; at other times it offers a peaceful glimpse into the rhythms of the African wilderness.

Situated within the 90,000-acre Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Porini Rhino Camp is surrounded by one of Kenya's most important conservation landscapes. The conservancy is home to the Big Five, an abundance of plains game and internationally recognised conservation programmes, making it one of East Africa's premier wildlife destinations.

For Gamewatchers Safaris, the livestream is about much more than simply showcasing wildlife.

Since 1989, we have championed a low-impact safari model that works in partnership with Maasai and other community-owned conservancies across Kenya. Tourism revenue generated through our Porini Safari Camps helps protect wildlife habitat while providing sustainable income and employment for local communities.

By bringing this waterhole to audiences around the world, we hope to inspire greater appreciation for Kenya's wildlife and the community conservation model that helps protect it.

Whether you're planning your first safari, counting down to your next visit, or simply looking for a daily connection with nature, our new livestream offers a front-row seat to one of Africa's most remarkable wilderness areas.

Watch the livestream today via the company website or on the Gamewatchers Safaris YouTube channel —and see what arrives next.
