Botswana Night at ITB Berlin promotes high-value, sustainable tourism
The Botswana Tourism Organisation, in partnership with Hotel 430 and Wilderness, hosted Botswana Night on the sidelines of ITB Berlin 2026, bringing together global tourism partners, investors, media and industry stakeholders. The event promoted Botswana as a premium destination and provided a platform to strengthen existing relationships while fostering new business opportunities across the sector.
Tourism Minister Honourable Wynter Boipuso Mmolotsi emphasised the country’s high-value, sustainable tourism strategy, highlighting priorities including improved air access, visa facilitation and infrastructure development to boost global competitiveness. He pointed to flagship attractions such as the Okavango Delta, Chobe National Park, the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, Tsodilo Hills and the Kgalagadi, and invited international partners to explore investment opportunities across lodges, cultural experiences and eco-tourism, reinforcing Botswana’s position as a safe and high-quality African destination.
