Bisate’s New Day Lounge to Open in May 2020

Wilderness Safaris Bisate Lodge at Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda, is enhancing its guest experience by building an exclusive new Day Lounge to accommodate early arrivals and later departures. As the only lodge in the area to offer this service as part of its fully-inclusive offering, guests will be able to shower, change, enjoy a light meal, in-room massage, or simply relax in the lodge’s supremely hospitable and peaceful environment.

“We are thrilled to be building this additional facility, to maximise convenience and comfort for our guests”, notes Wilderness Safaris Rwanda Operations Manager, Ingrid Baas. “With four spacious change rooms, each with a full bathroom, and in-room spa treatments, the lounge will offer our guests the perfect place to unwind after an exciting gorilla trek in the Park on the day of their departure. It will also accommodate arrivals at Bisate Lodge from 12:00 onwards, offering a freshly prepared lunch, after which the guests may proceed directly to their rooms. Guests arriving earlier than 12:00 can make use of the Day Lounge before heading to Bisate Lodge to check in”.

If guests are not trekking, check-out and departure from Bisate Lodge is before 10:30. However, if they would like to relax in the lounge they are more than welcome to do so until the latest departure time at 15:30.

Located close to the main lodge but hidden from view, the lounge will have the same feel as Bisate, embracing authentic Rwandan décor and architecture. The informal lounge area features a fireplace, while the dining area has sliding doors that open to undisturbed views of a garden landscaped with an assortment of vegetables, and ample space for relaxation.
