Belmond Safaris welcomes Daniel Zents as the General Manager of Savute Elephant Lodge

Following the recent announcement of dedicated General Managers for each Safari Lodge, Belmond Safaris is delighted to share the news of the appointment of Daniel Zents as General Manager of Savute Elephant Lodge.

Daniel brings extensive safari management experience from South Africa since 2017, most recently as Lodge Manager for Singita's flagship property, Singita Ebony, in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. His impressive hospitality experience also includes various roles in Dubai, Bahrain and the Netherlands.

In his new role, Daniel will focus on strategically repositioning Savute Elephant Lodge and elevating guest experiences. Reporting directly to Tiago Sarmento, Managing Director for Belmond Southern Africa, he will also work closely with Claudia Rodrigues, General Manager of Eagle Island Lodge and Maun Office to ensure seamless coordination and synergy between both lodges.
