Auric Air has resumed flights to Siwandu Airstrip in Tanzania’s Nyerere National Park after a period of inactivity. The airstrip is open and flights are now bookable, reinstating scheduled links from Zanzibar, Ruaha and Dar es Salaam.

From Siwandu, travellers can connect to Pemba Island, Mafia Island and Arusha, with onward options across the Auric Air network. The reopening restores direct air access to camps – including Asilia’s Roho ya Selous, Laba Siwandu Camp and Essential Destination’s Lake Manze Camp – strengthening connectivity for safari travel and lodge logistics.
