Ashnil Mara Camp has officially reopened following a comprehensive transformation, unveiling a reimagined safari retreat that combines contemporary design with the timeless allure of the Masai Mara.

Set along the banks of the Mara River only 10km from the Serengeti in Tanzania, in one of the most wildlife-rich regions of the Masai Mara National Reserve, the rebuilt camp signals a new chapter for one of Kenya’s most well-established safari properties.

The camp’s complete rebuild enhances the guest experience while remaining rooted in the natural beauty and rhythm of the bush.

Contemporary Luxury Meets Timeless Wilderness

The new-look Ashnil Mara Camp features fully rebuilt luxury tents that are spacious, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. Each tent now includes comfortable lounge areas, elegant en-suite bathrooms, WiFi, private outdoor seating, and upgraded amenities. An inclusive minibar offering will be introduced in 2026.

Guest areas have also been transformed for greater comfort, which emphasizes the connection to the environment. Sweeping river views, intimate lounges, and a seamless indoor-outdoor layout create a more relaxing setting for guests returning from game drives or enjoying downtime between activities.
