Dynamic Daily Handicapping
To ensure competitive integrity across all three rounds, the tournament utilizes a dynamic daily handicapping system. This system adjusts player handicaps for the next round based on their performance against the average field score for the day:
- Buffer Zone (No Change): Scores falling between 27 and 33 Stableford points.
- Handicap Reduction: Players scoring 34 points or above lose one shot off their handicap for each point over 33.
- Handicap Increase: Players scoring 26 points or below gain one shot on their handicap for every two points under 27.
This major new event follows a year of strategic team expansion at Ascot Tours, including the arrival of Benjamin Murwayi as Senior Sales Consultant in Kenya and Donna D'Costa as Sales & Account Manager, strengthening the organizational capacity needed to host world-class events like the Africa Golf Classic.
