Airlink NDC Content Live on Aeronology Platform 

Airlink's New Distribution Capability (NDC) content is live on Aeronology, the single-screen travel platform that enables advisors to search, book, and service flights from multiple airlines without switching portals. Branded as Airlink Direct Connect, the integration gives travel advisors full booking and servicing control for the regional carrier's flights in a single environment for the first time, allowing them to shop, compare, book, void, cancel, manage schedule changes, and sell ancillary services alongside existing GDS and low-cost carrier content. 
 

The development addresses a widely documented pain point for the trade. A recent ASATA survey found that 82 per cent of South African travel advisors identify managing multiple platforms as one of their biggest daily operational challenges. Aeronology CEO Pete Egglestone described the Airlink integration as proof of the platform's servicing-first model, while Airlink's Senior Distribution Manager Joao Regal noted that NDC content is only as valuable as the ease with which advisors can sell and service it - a consideration of particular importance for a regional network where itinerary changes are common.
