Airlink Expands Flights to Hoedspruit and Bulawayo

South African airline Airlink is set to boost regional connectivity with increased flights to Hoedspruit, South Africa, and Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. From 30 March 2025, the airline will introduce a triple-daily service between Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport and Hoedspruit, while flights from Cape Town to Hoedspruit will rise to twice daily. Additionally, starting 31 March 2025, Airlink will add six more weekly return flights between Johannesburg and Bulawayo, increasing from 13 to 19 flights per week.
The increased capacity to Hoedspruit, a key gateway to Kruger National Park and private game reserves, reflects growing demand for wildlife tourism. Meanwhile, the expanded schedule to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe’s second-largest city, enhances links for both business and leisure travellers, providing better access to the region’s cultural and historical sites such as Matobo National Park. These route expansions align with Airlink’s strategy to strengthen regional links and support tourism growth across Southern Africa.
