Airlink will launch twice-daily flights between Cape Town International Airport and Lanseria International Airport from 4 December 2026, marking the airline's first scheduled domestic service to the Johannesburg-area airport. The route will be operated by an Embraer E190 aircraft, seating 98 passengers, and will run seven days a week - offering travellers an alternative to OR Tambo International Airport for journeys between the Western Cape and Gauteng.

Flights will depart Cape Town at 09h20 and 13h30, with return services from Lanseria at 09h10 and 13h00. Airlink CEO de Villiers Engelbrecht noted that travel options on the route have been limited, positioning the new service as a convenient option for passengers on the western side of Gauteng and in the North West province. Frequencies are set to increase to four daily return flights from 22 March 2027, with an updated schedule to be published closer to the date.
