Air Zimbabwe Announces Harare–Mutare–Victoria Falls Route as Permanent
Air Zimbabwe has announced the continuation of its Harare–Mutare–Victoria Falls daily flight service, initially introduced for the Sanganai/Hlanganani/Kumbanai World Tourism Expo. The route will now operate permanently as part of the airline’s broader strategic plan to improve domestic connectivity and support Zimbabwe’s tourism sector.
The route, which includes Grand Reef Aerodrome in Mutare, has seen strong uptake and aims to facilitate multi-destination travel across key tourist regions. The national carrier has partnered with aviation and tourism bodies to enhance support infrastructure, and online bookings are now available through a new integration with PayNow. The expansion forms part of Air Zimbabwe’s efforts to reestablish itself as a key driver of national development and tourism growth.
