Air Seychelles Launches Nonstop Flights to Paris Charles de Gaulle
Air Seychelles has announced three weekly nonstop flights between Mahé and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, commencing 20 March 2026 for an initial one-month period. The service will be operated using a Boeing 787-900 Dreamliner under an agreement with Etihad Airways, configured with 290 seats across Business and Economy Class cabins. Business Class will feature fully lie-flat seats, while the aircraft's long-haul design enables a direct connection previously unavailable between the two destinations.
The launch comes at a strategically significant moment, as airspace disruptions across parts of the Middle East have placed pressure on traditional Gulf hub transit routes. The direct link offers passengers a reliable alternative while strengthening ties with France - historically one of Seychelles' strongest inbound tourism markets. The airline has indicated the possibility of increasing services to four weekly flights subject to demand, with tickets available via the Air Seychelles website, contact centres, and travel agents.
