Air France Resumes Direct Cape Town - Paris Service for 2026/27 Summer Season

Air France is reinstating its seasonal direct route between Cape Town and Paris-Charles de Gaulle from 22 September 2026 to 27 March 2027, operated on an Airbus A350-900. The service launches with three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, departing Cape Town at 12.15am and arriving in Paris at 12.15pm. From 1 November, the frequency increases to five flights a week - operating daily except Tuesdays and Thursdays - with a revised departure time of 8.30am and arrival at 7.20pm.

The route's return coincides with growing international recognition for Cape Town, which ranked sixth in Time Out's World's Best Cities 2026 list - the highest-placed African city - ahead of destinations including Tokyo and Seoul. Wilson Tauro, Country Manager Southern Africa at Air France-KLM, noted that the increased frequency offers travellers greater flexibility for European travel, with onward connections available across Air France's wider network via its Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub.
