Air France extends Cape Town route to April 2025
Air France has announced it will extend its seasonal Cape Town route through 27 April 2025, strengthening connectivity between Europe and South Africa during the Easter period and the start of the Cape's autumn tourist season.
The extension will maintain the current schedule of three weekly flights between Paris and Cape Town from 30 March to 27 April 2025, responding to increased travel demand during this popular period.
Wilson Tauro, Country Manager Southern Africa for Air France-KLM, noted that Cape Town remains a highly sought-after global destination, with the extension reflecting the airline's commitment to providing seamless connections between South Africa and Europe.
The extended schedule allows travellers to experience Air France's premium service while accessing Cape Town's diverse offerings, from its cultural attractions to its natural landscapes. This development is particularly significant for the tourism industry, providing enhanced access to one of Africa's premier destinations during the shoulder season.
The route extension demonstrates Air France's continued investment in the South African market, ensuring sustained international connectivity for both leisure and business travellers during a key tourism period.
