Botswana's national flag carrier, Air Botswana, is set to revolutionise regional connectivity with an ambitious expansion. Following the acquisition of three state-of-the-art Embraer jets in June 2024, the airline will introduce new routes from Kasane to Cape Town, Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, and Windhoek. Maun will connect to both Cape Town and Windhoek, while Gaborone will link with Durban and Windhoek, significantly broadening travel options across Southern Africa.

In addition to these new routes, Air Botswana will reinstate services from Kasane, Maun, and Francistown to Johannesburg, and introduce a domestic connection between Gaborone and Orapa. While launch dates and schedules remain under wraps, this expansion marks a new era for Air Botswana, promising enhanced convenience and connectivity for travellers throughout the region.
