Air Algérie opens Guangzhou and Rotterdam routes
Air Algérie has opened two new international routes linking Algiers with Guangzhou, China, and Rotterdam, Netherlands. The inaugural flights operated on 27 October 2025 to Guangzhou and 28 October to Rotterdam, as part of the carrier’s plan to expand its global network.
The additions strengthen Algeria’s connectivity to major Asian and European commercial hubs, offering more direct options for business and leisure travellers and supporting inbound tourism. The national airline said the launches align with its fleet modernisation and network growth strategy – bolstering its ambition to position Algiers as a regional air transport hub.
