African Airlines Expand Networks as Regional Connectivity Gains Momentum

Airlines across Africa are strengthening their networks through fleet expansion and route development initiatives. Air Sénégal has added a Boeing 737-800 to support regional operations, while Kenya Airways has announced plans to significantly increase its fleet over the coming decade. TAAG Angola Airlines is also preparing to restore services to China, further strengthening Africa-Asia connectivity.

Elsewhere, South Sudan Supreme Airlines is working towards resuming operations after a five-year grounding, while Edelweiss has expanded services to Namibia, improving European access to the destination. These developments reflect continued investment in aviation infrastructure and connectivity, both of which remain critical to tourism growth across the continent.
