AeroLink Uganda - Implementation of Fuel Surcharge
As you are aware, the ongoing geopolitical conflict in the Middle East has resulted in a sharp and sustained increase in the cost of aviation fuel (Jet A-1), a primary driver of airline operating costs.
We deliberately placed our clients’ long term resilience at the forefront of our decisions, choosing not to react immediately to the initial market shocks. Over the past few weeks, we have explored every viable alternative to shield you from these external pressures. However, to sustain our operational integrity, we must now implement a fuel surcharge across our route network, effective 1st May 2026.
Key Highlights:
- All tickets issued on or after 1st May 2026, will reflect a surcharge of USD 25 per person per sector.
- Tickets issued prior to this date are not affected. However, any ticket amendments will attract the fuel surcharge.
We are monitoring developments carefully and are committed to reviewing this surcharge in line with changing market conditions.
Thank you for your understanding and continued trust in us.
