Adielah Misbach Resort Manager, One&Only Nyungwe House

Adielah Misbach is the Resort Manager at One&Only Nyungwe House, one of two luxury resorts in Rwanda.

This luxury eco-retreat is situated on a working tea plantation alongside an ancient rainforest. There are 23 luxury rooms and suites designed to "frame" nature, with exceptional views of the Nyungwe National Park. The resort offers experiences such as an African Tea Ceremony; nature walks; outstanding cuisine with ingredients sourced from Chef's garden; meditation, yoga and Pilates in nature; and a luxurious spa and wellness centre.

Adielah is originally from Cape Town, South Africa, and has a Diploma in Travel and Tourism. She has a wealth of experience in hospitality, specifically luxury hotels. She has worked at The Cape Grace, Sun International and Winchester Mansions, to mention a few. Notably, however, she has been part of the One&Only and Kerzner family for eight years. Her journey began at One&Only Cape Town, where her roles included Front Office Manager, Reservations Manager and Front of House Manager. In 2022 she relocated to Rwanda to be Rooms Division Manager at One&Only Gorilla's Nest and then started her role at One&Only Nyungwe House in 2023.

As Resort Manager, Adielah is a strategic business leader for the resort. Her role includes the development of all guest experiences, the management of resort assets, creating local and international collaborations and partnerships, and continuing to develop the resort’s offerings, reputation and standard of excellence.

Adielah is a strong manager who leads by example, with integrity, fairness and compassion. She is also a strategic thinker who can see the big picture and the micro-effects of all its “moving parts”. Her experience and work ethic set her in good stead to lead this magical Rwandan retreat.
