11 New Domestic Routes: Ryanair Invests $1.4 Billion In Biggest Ever Moroccan Summer Schedule

Ryanair, the leading airline between Africa and Europe, has unveiled its biggest-ever summer schedule to Morocco, representing a $1.4 billion investment. This includes the introduction of 11 domestic routes to increase connectivity and support the development of tourism in Morocco.

Expanding service to Morocco

In Summer 2024, Ryanair will expand its service to, from, and within Morocco by launching 35 new routes. It will operate over 1,100 weekly flights across a total of 175 routes. This record summer schedule will boost connectivity between Morocco and several new destinations and is expected to deliver over 5 million passengers, representing a 33% increase in traffic.

The airline will also invest $200 million to place two new aircraft in Tangier, which is set to become its fourth base in the North African country. Ryanair stated that its investment in Morocco now represents over $1.4 billion in aircraft, supporting over 500 direct jobs in the aviation industry and thousands of other jobs in tourism.
