Conservation & Wildlife Fund

Africa and its wildlife are under serious threat more so today than ever.

In order to take action, concerned conservationists and stake holders of Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park region have created a collaborative group and formed a not-for profit Trust, namely the Conservation & Wildlife Fund (CWF). The Hide is a founding member of The Conservation and Wildlife Fund which aims to work together with stakeholders, including other environmentalist and conservation groups, and local communities, in order to raise awareness, and provide adequate tools for the management of Zimbabwe’s precious wildlife resources. The Hide is also a member of The Long Run.

The Hide and Changa Safari Camps support Kidzcan, which envisions a compassionate world where children who suffer from cancer and their families are given the chance to lead healthy and fulfilling lives.

What may seem an unlikely association, at first, makes perfect sense when you understand that the common denominator is family – and how The Hide and Kidzcan operate from the values and traditions that also happen to strengthen the bonds of family. The Hide and Changa have pledged to contribute $1 per guest per night to Kidzcan. And they’re inviting their guests to match this dollar or more.
