Karibu Camps and Lodges, a collection of luxurious Lodges and Camps located in the famous Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park announces the re-opening of Ngorongoro Lions Paw Lodge. Ngorongoro Lions Paw Lodge is nestled in a forest of Red Thorn Acacia trees, atop the eastern rim of the Ngorongoro Crater with mesmerizing views into the Crater and surrounding highlands, less than a 10-minute drive down the Crater floor.

We are delighted to announce the launch of Serengeti Sametu Camp which will be ready to receive our guests from the 1st of October! The newest addition to our collection of Karibu Camps & Lodges is only 30 mins from Seronera HQ/Airstrip, nestled in a reclusive location with ample resident wildlife and panoramic views of the vast Savannah plains.

Set in the remote area on the Eastern Edge of Central Serengeti, Located less than 60meters away from the Ngarenyanuki Riverbed, away from the hustle and bustle of tourists, the camp fits naturally into its surroundings which also boasts quiet seclusion and awe-inspiring panoramic views of the vast Savannah Plains. The Central Serengeti is home to the serene Seronera Valley hosting an array of flowing rivers that draw large numbers of various wildlife.

Karibu Camps & Lodges proudly introduces Ngorongoro Lions Paw, Atop Crater Rim. Set in the magnificent quiet grove of Red Thorn Acacia Trees, high atop of the Eastern Rim of Ngorongoro Crater is where our Tented Lodge is based. Located 45mins away from Loduare Gate of Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the tented lodge fits naturally into its surroundings amongst the acacia trees.
