Masumu River Lodge near Binga and Shashani Matobo Hills – situated in a private game reserve, bordering the Matobo National Park. The recently opened Kariba Safari Lodge overlooking its own beach front on the Lake shore and Crowned Eagle Boutique Hotel with sweeping panoramic views of the Matusadonna mountain range on the horizon (opening mid 2019).

Zambezi Cruise and Safaris - MV Zambezi Adventurer Transcruiser Update
With 75% of the components having arrived on Lake Kariba, the construction of the MV Zambezi Adventurer, the newest addition to Zambezi Cruise and Safaris fleet, is now well under way with the pontoons and initial structure assembled. The MV Zambezi Adventurer will be the largest vessel on Lake Kariba with capacity for 76 pax in three levels of accommodation.

Zambezi Cruise and Safaris Transcruiser on ‘the move’
The MV ‘Zambezi Adventurer’ is on the move. 16 truckloads of components have started the epic journey from Johannesburg to Lake Kariba. The 53 meter long and 11 wide Transcruiser, built in South Africa, will be reassembled and finished in Kariba. With 28 cabins, all en-suite and air conditioned with stunning full glass views directly out to the lake, 2 swimming pools, 2 large air-conditioned bar-dining/lounge areas and numerous outdoor decks, she will be the largest vessel ever to work on Lake Kariba.

Zambezi Cruise & Safaris is pleased to announce completion of a successful operation to cut and bale 5500 bales of grass at Kariba Airport as a first phase of the 30,000 bales we plan to donate. We are currently transporting this to Mana Pools National Park from where it will be distributed as part of a supplementary feeding programme by Mana Stakeholders.
