EXPERIENCE AFRICA 2026 – HOSTED & NON-HOSTED BUYER TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. INTERPRETATION

In this Agreement, the following terms shall have the meanings set out below:

“Event” means Experience Africa 2026, taking place on the Event Date(s) at the Event Venue specified in the Schedule.

“Event Date(s)” means Monday 22 – Wednesday 24 June 2026.

“Event Venue” means Convene, 155 Bishopsgate, London and external venue(s) used for social networking events, including the ATTA® Sumer Party.

“Hosted Buyer” is a qualified trade professional accepted by ATTA Group Events Ltd to attend Experience Africa for pre-scheduled appointments who receives complimentary accommodation and other benefits provided by ATTA Group Events Ltd.

“Non-Hosted Buyer” means a qualified trade professional accepted by ATTA Group Events Ltd to attend Experience Africa for pre-scheduled appointments.

“Buyer” is the collective term for both Hosted Buyers and Non-Hosted Buyers.

“Hotel” is official event accommodation arranged by ATTA Group Events Ltd.

“Commitment Fee” is a refundable payment of GBP195 payable upon approval of the Hosted or Non-Hosted Buyer’s application.

“Force Majeure Event means any event beyond the reasonable control of either party, including but not limited to war, act of terrorism, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, government restriction, strike, lockout, fire, flood, or natural disaster.

1A. APPLICATION AND ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

1A.1 All Buyers must complete the official Experience Africa 2026 Online Application Form.

1A.2 By submitting the Application Form, the Buyer confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1A.3 Submission of the Application Form does not constitute acceptance by ATTA Group Events Ltd. A binding agreement will only come into effect once the Buyer’s application has been formally approved in writing by ATTA Group Events Ltd.

1A.4 Upon approval, the Buyer will receive written confirmation together with a copy of these Terms & Conditions for their records.

1A.5 ATTA Group Events Ltd reserves the right to decline any application at its sole discretion without obligation to provide reasons.

2. ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS

2.1 Hosted Buyers receive:

A personalised appointment diary of pre-scheduled meetings.
Access to the full event programme and networking events.
Accommodation at an approved hotel for up to 4 nights (Sun – Thu.)

2.2 Non-Hosted Buyers receive:

A personalised appointment diary of pre-scheduled meetings.
Access to the full event programme and networking events.

2.3 Hosted Buyers and Non-Hosted Buyers must:

Hosted Buyers are to attend the full event from Registration (08h00 – 09h00) on Monday 22 June – the final meeting ending at 17h30 on Wednesday 25 June.
Non-Hosted Buyers are to attend the full event for the days registered from Registration to include the final meeting of each day.
Attend up to 14 pre-scheduled appointments daily, unless prevented by circumstances beyond their control.
Attend all mandatory sessions and networking events as specified by ATTA Group Events Ltd.
Conduct themselves professionally, courteously, and in line with the purpose of the Event at all times.

2.3 Failure to meet attendance obligations may result in:

Forfeiture of the Commitment Fee
Application of cancellation/ no-show charges as set out in Section 3.
Exclusion from future ATTA Group Events Ltd events at the discretion of the organiser.

3. COMMITMENT FEE & CANCELLATIONS

3.1 On approval of their application, Buyers must pay a refundable Commitment Fee of GBP195. This will be refunded in full upon completion of all participation obligations.

3.2 If a Buyer cancels attendance or fails to meet attendance obligations, the Commitment Fee will be forfeited.

3.3 Hosted Buyers cancelling on or before 27 April (8 weeks prior) incur no penalty beyond the forfeiture of the Commitment Fee.

Cancellations received after 27 April, or failure to attend, will incur a GBP350 cancellation fee (plus VAT if UK domiciled). Hosted Buyers will also be liable for any hotel cancellations charges applied at the time of cancellation. Fees will be waived if your participation can be replaced by another suitable attendee from your organisation.

3.4 Non-Hosted Buyers cancelling after 11 May (6 weeks prior) or who fail to attend will be charged GBP350 (plus VAT if UK domiciled) unless your participation can be replaced by another suitable attendee from your organisation.

3.5 Buyers acknowledge and accept that the card details used to secure the Commitment Fee will be securely stored by our PCI-compliant payment provider and may be used to process any applicable cancellation fees or hotel cancellation charges in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

3.6 ATTA Group Events Ltd may cancel or withdraw participation if a Buyer’s conduct is deemed inappropriate or inconsistent with event objectives. In such circumstances, all fees may be forfeited, and ATTA Group Events Ltd may recover any direct costs incurred on behalf of the Buyer.

4. INSURANCE & LIABILITY

4.1 Buyers must hold valid travel, health, and liability insurance.

4.2 ATTA Group Events Ltd shall not be liable for losses, delays, or costs arising from travel disruption, accommodation issues, or third-party negligence.

4.3 ATTA Group Events Ltd.’s liability shall not exceed the value of any direct costs it has incurred on behalf of the Buyer.

5. DATA PROTECTION

ATTA Group Events Ltd will process personal data in compliance with UK GDPR for event administration and networking purposes. Buyers may withdraw consent at any time by contacting [email protected]

6. GENERAL

6.1 Attendance is by invitation only and not guaranteed until confirmed in writing by ATTA Group Events Ltd.

6.2 ATTA Group Events Ltd reserves the right to modify or cancel the Event in its sole discretion without liability, including due to a Force Majeure Event.

6.3 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with exclusive jurisdiction in London courts.
